When Ariana was 9 years old, she stumbled across a YouTube page with a young, curly blonde haired girl. She was playing guitar and singing a song that she wrote. Spoiler alert, it was Taylor Swift! An avid singer, that was the moment Ariana decided she wanted to learn to play the guitar.
After years of practice, lessons, and a degree or two, Ariana discovered a passion for teaching other children to love music as much (or more!) as she does. Pave Creative: Music, Arts & Theatre was born to instill a passion for music and arts that will last a lifetime.

Hey, I'm Jacob and I am a teacher at Pave Creative. My favorite part of teaching is seeing others succeed, especially when those "lightbulb moments" occur. My aim is to be the teacher that sparks a lifetime of music and creativity for my students.
Jacob Souders is a composer, performer, arranger, record producer, and visual artist from the greater Kansas City area. He is currently studying music composition at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and has studied with world-renowned composers Chen Yi, Yotam Haber, and Zhou Long. As a multi-instrumentalist, teaching is another integral part of Jacob's musical world. He teaches guitar, cello, music composition and songwriting. His favorite part of teaching is seeing others succeed, especially when those "lightbulb moments" occur, and a once difficult concept finally makes sense to a student. Jacob is excited to be with Pave Creative, and to be the teacher that sparks a lifetime of music and creativity for someone.
Jacob offers guitar, drums, piano, cello, music composition and songwriting both virtually and in person at Pave Creative.
